PRIVACY POLICY
Contact and Minimum Information
1. In order to provide information on subject matter to an individual, group or company, it is necessary to have some contact point with that individual, group or company. Because the nature of the Internet makes e-mail transactions possible, collection of information via an e-mail address is provided on this website as an alternative to the standard phone, fax and mailing address of the organization.
2. Anonymity of the individual, group or company requesting the information from Pollys Club Inc., is lawful and practicable by the non-inclusion on the contact e-mail of their name, however, this is not practical from a return-to-sender point of view. Therefore, Pollys Club Inc. requests that the sender's name be provided as part of 'minimum information required' for response.
3. By instigating initial contact, the sender agrees to allow the use of their e-mail address for response, and must indicate to Pollys Club Inc. whether they will NOT allow the e-mail address to be maintained on the Pollys Club Inc. records for future purposes. If there is no indication that the e-mail address is NOT to be kept in the Pollys Club Inc. records of contact, then it is assumed the keeping of such a record is allowed by the initial contactee.
4. Whilst it would be preferable, Pollys Club Inc. does not need the individual to indicate whether they are acting for their own purposes or on behalf of an organization / employer or another individual / organization.
5. Initial contact by an individual, group or company will be maintained on an e-mail program for the purposes of follow-up response. This information will be used by Pollys Club Inc. for the purpose of future marketing and promotion of the Pollys Club Inc. activities.
6. Pollys Club Inc., undertakes to ensure that any personal data held by its organization is held under secure conditions on its computer network and that reasonable steps have been undertaken to ensure the loss or misuse of this data is protected from unauthorized access, modification or disclosure.
7. Pollys Club Inc. undertakes to destroy immediately a) any information where permission is not given by the client for that information to be stored by Pollys Club Inc., b) and any information that is no longer needed for any purpose.
Non-purchase of database
8. Pollys Club Inc., does not purchase e-mail listings of individuals, groups or companies for the purpose of marketing capabilities.
9. Pollys Club Inc. does not on-sell or provide any other individual, group or organization, or company with information it has collected from its contact with community members.
11. The point of contact on the Pollys Club Inc. website is visible at all times from every page presented to the contactee throughout their journey through the website .
Use of ISP Software
12. Pollys Club Inc. does not use computer programs such as "Analog" to collect information such as domain names, from its ISP about the individuals , groups or companies who visit the Pollys Club Inc. website.
Shopping Cart System
13. Pollys Club Inc. does not use web-bugs or similar, including "cookies", to collect information about visitors to the Pollys Club Inc., website. We do not operate a shopping cart system either.
14. Should the visitor to the Pollys Club Inc., website not trust "cookie" or similar technology, regardless of the fact that is not used on the Pollys Club Inc. website, then it is recommended to the user to turn off the cookie facility in their browser.
Requesting Information
15. Any request by an individual, group or company for any or all details of their personal, group or company information held in records by Pollys Club Inc. will be expedited in the quickest possible manner upon application for such information to the committee of Pollys Club Inc. at no cost to the individual. Information concerning other individuals, groups or companies will not be provided by Pollys Club Inc.
16. Disclosure of personal information collected by Pollys Club Inc. can be made if Pollys Club Inc. is required to do so by law under the jurisdiction of the Commonwealth State of Territory legislation and any common law. Privacy laws do not override these legal obligations, nor laws relating to tax or credit matters.
