COMMUNITY GRANTS AND RAFFLESCOMMUNITY GRANTS AND RAFFLES
Information for Organisations wishing to conduct raffles at Pollys dances
Pollys considers "applications to conduct a raffle" from community organisations on a yearly basis. This permits such community organisations to conduct fundraising activities for their own organisation’s purposes. The following points are considered vital for an application to be successful.
1. The organisation should be a legal entity, such as an Incorporated Association.
2. They should be recognized as “Not for Profit”.
3. There should be non-discrimination policies enshrined in their Articles of Association.
4. They should have an established presence within the Community at large or the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Community in particular.
5. They should nominate the manner in which the funds raised would be expended.
6. Be willing to provide proof of the expenditure if requested.
Applications to conduct a raffle for your organisation should be emailed to info@thepollysclub.com.au with details of your club, contact person and daytime phone number. A representative from Pollys will contact you.
